Cafes in Universities

Cafes are one of the favorite places of the back backbenchers and the people with 24/7 eating habits inside the premises of universities. Cafes in universities serve their primary purpose of providing students and faculty with food. Most of the after university hang out s are discussed by the university students, in the cafes. During the lunch hours, cafes are jam packed, with everyone in a hurry to get food, plus grab a suitable place to sit in comfort and relax at least for an hour. Many universities have only one cafe in the premises and hence only one eating place inside the university. But at the same time, we can find ice cream cycles and other food stalls by the random people, to sell food stuff to the university students’ right outside the university boundaries. So it becomes convenient for the students to reach another eating place, which is very near to their university. Most of the times, areas right outside the cafes are also full of students as well. Cafes are very noisy as compare to the other places of the universities. Students’ screaming at the cafe men to get them their required order that varies with the mood and money a student has on that particular day. While other students are talking amongst themselves and discussing any recent happening that has taken place in their class. Moreover there are instances when students are taking pictures in the cafes. Storing memories of their university lives.  Many happy birthdays are also celebrated in the cafes, with students singing happy birthday all around. Giving a new life with the students noises to a mere eating place. This is how; cafes play an important part in the student lives.
